If you've checked out a question and then realize you can't answer it, use the Return to Pool button in your My Work tab to remove the question from your queue and put it back in the checkout pool for someone else to check out.
If you've already written the answer that was then returned to you, and you realized you can't successfully complete the answer, please revert send in a ticket to the in-house team to remove it from your queue. If this is an Instant Answer, please make sure you notify the in-house team as soon as possible.
If there is an issue with the question, and you can't answer it, please use the tagging system discussed on your instructions page in Confluence.
The process is simple:
- When you check out a question/title that has a problem, leave a comment with an appropriate hashtags, then return the title to the pool as you normally would.
- We will pull all comments with these tags from the system and either correct or delete questions, as necessary.
As we work to clear out these titles, your work pools will become more manageable, making it easier for you to find acceptable questions to work on.
All questions with issues will contain a minimum of two tags.
One of the tags will always be either #fix or #delete.
Tags will be entered in a comment within the asset.
Assets should be returned to the pool. DO NOT click I'm Done.
Only the tags in the following table are necessary, not the explanatory text
Tag | When to use | Explanatory tags |
---|---|---|
#delete | The title is not fixable and should be removed from the system. At least one explanatory tag should be given as a reason for deletion. |
|
#fix | The title can be fixed. One or more of the following explanatory tags should be used to define the necessary fix. |
